Fractional Fundraising

You don't need more advice. You need someone to actually do the work.

Running a small nonprofit means wearing every hat, and fundraising is just one of them. The problem is that fundraising doesn't grow on its own — it takes consistent attention, strategic thinking, and a lot of follow-through. That's hard to do when you're also managing programs, staff, and a board.

Fractional Fundraising is the middle ground between hiring someone in-house and bringing in a consultant who hands you a plan and disappears. I become part of your team — thinking strategically, building the systems, and doing the actual work — without the overhead of a full-time hire.

What does this looks like?

Every engagement starts with a fundraising audit. I look at what you have, what's working, where the gaps are, and what the opportunities are. From there, we build a clear fundraising strategy together and then I implement it.

That means I'm writing your appeals, managing your donor database, submitting grants, stewarding your corporate partners, supporting your board, and everything in between. The strategy and the doing aren't separate, they happen together, all the time.

I work across all revenue streams: individual giving, major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships and sponsorships, and donor stewardship. We figure out together what your priorities are, and I focus my energy there.

What am I getting?

  • 15+ years of senior-level fundraising experience

  • A clear strategy tailored to your organization

  • Full implementation — not just advice

  • No hourly tracking. I focus on deliverables and outcomes.

  • A fundraiser who is genuinely invested in your mission

“As a client, I can't recommend Laura's services enough. I've always prided myself on BITS’ impact, but without effectively communicating that to our supporters we were missing out on endless opportunities. In only 18 months of working together, Laura has created systems and standards that have drastically improved the relationship BITS has with our existing donor community, as well as supported us in welcoming a number of new corporate and foundation partners.”
